THE VILLAGES VINTAGE CAR CLUB

BY-LAWS and CONSTITUTION

PURPOSE:	The Villages Vintage Car Club is open to all residents of the Villages, Florida, that have an interest in antique, classic, vintage Exotic, luxury, street rods, muscle, custom, and replica cars and Trucks.

OFFICERS/DUTIES:
President:	1. The President will preside over all club meetings and appoint Committees as necessary 2.Schedule all meetings of officers as needed 3.Cast the deciding vote in case of a tie when a vote is taken
Vice President:	1. The Vice President will assume the duties of the President In the absence of the president. 2. Attend all committee meetings. 3. To serve in such capacity as directed by the President.
Secretary:	1. The Secretary shall keep all minutes of all club meetings. 2. To handle and maintain all correspondence deemed by The President. 3. To inform all officers of special meetings called by the President.
Treasurer:	1. The Treasurer will keep financial records of the club and Collect dues and other monies associated with club activities and pay all bills pertaining to the club. 2. Maintain a roster of all dues paying members

ELECTION of OFFICERS:	1. Nominations of officers will be made at the September meeting and the election will be held at The November meeting. 2. The term for officers will be will be from January.1 thru December 31 for two years. 3. The President and Recording Secretary will be elected on odd years. The Vice President and Treasurer will be elected on even years.

TERM LIMITS:	The term limit of each officer will be two years, After one year being off the Board same member may be Nominated and elected to the Board of Directors once again.

EXPENDITURES:	A minimum balance of one hundred dollars from the Treasury but not to exceed the yearly fixed expenses must be carried over into the New Year. These monies are for expenditures that may occur before dues can be collected.

MEETINGS:	The clubs monthly meeting will be held on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM

DUES:	The annual dues are $25.00 per couple or individual for one year. When joining the club after April first the dues will be $21.00, after July first $14.00 and after October first $7.00. Dues must be paid by the February meeting. If the dues are not paid by the February meeting said member would loose all privileges pertaining to the club. Said member must return to the club the windshield sticker issued to him and the couple or individual will be dropped from the roster.

TERMINATION OF THE CLUB:	In the event the Villages Vintage Car Club is dissolved the monies that are in the Treasury shall be donated to a local charity as recommended by the Board of Directors of the Villages Vintage Car Club, Which shall be approved by a majority vote of attending members at a regular membership meeting.

AMMENDMENTS TO BY-LAWS:	Amendments to the By-laws must be voted on at a regular monthly meeting with a majority vote of attending members.
