Villages Vintage Car Club Monday

The regular meeting of the Villages Vintage Car Club was held on February 15, 2010 at the Truman Recreation Center. President Jim Maiurro called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm and led the membership in the Pledge of Allegiance.
REPORTS
The minutes from the January meeting were read by the Secretary Prentiss Yates. A motion was made, seconded and carried that the minutes be approved as read.
The Treasurer’s report was read by Treasurer Mike Ferlisi. A motion was made, seconded, and carried that the report be approved as read.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Allan Stone gave a preview of the car show, all bills are paid, money is left and more than 175 cars are pre-registered, 60 club members will park at the show. Bob Schaefer will bring approximately 30 Corvettes. Pre-registration will be extended to the Villages Cruise in through February 20. Committee heads reviewed their respective areas.
There a lot of vendors and more than $5,000 in prizes.
NEW MEMBERS
There were no new members.
OLD BUSINESS
President Maiurro stated that a new committee was formed and will handle refreshments.

There were 2 winners for the 50/50.
A motion was made, seconded and motion carried to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 pm.
