Villages Vintage Car Club Monday

The regular meeting of the Villages Vintage Car Club was held on May  17, 2010 at the Truman Recreation Center. President Greg Stickney called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm and led the membership in the Pledge of Allegiance.

REPORTS

The minutes from the April meeting were read by the Secretary Prentiss Yates. A motion was made, seconded and carried that the minutes be approved as read.

The Treasurer’s report was approved.

Car Show Net $1,701.59 toward future shows.

$100.00 for Sparkey’s Strummers was accepted.

$25 had to go membership for (approved in minutes)??  Checked the minutes cannot find anything

Greg cleared up Helen, Allan, Bill are advisors.

Board members Prentiss, Mike, Greg.

Greg suggested no meetings for June, July, August   --   NO support.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Patricia Roberts Okalwakia wants 3 or 4 cars Saturday.

Nov 12,13   78 signed up Mike Harris gave details Ponta Gorda .

Helen  -   Silver Cricket restaurant  $24.99 each Dinner show.

Revised events for summer.

Not in partnership with Sweet Bay flier discussion.

Greg was voted as President.

Vacant – VP for general meeting or Special Election.

Why storage shed?     Cost of $320 per year

(Banner, Karaoke machine, tables, etc.)

Motion to spend $26.75 for storage shed seconded until a better solution is found for 90 days.       1 nay

No expenditures greater than $50 over normal operating expenditures.  Motion made and passed.

Discussion about entertainment at the meeting, they should be at picnics.

ANNOUCEMENTS

There was 1 winner for the 50/50.

A motion was made, seconded and motion carried to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 pm.
