Villages Vintage Car Club

The Meeting was called to order on November 15 2010 at: 7:11 pm in the Studebaker room of the Truman Recreation Center. President Jay DeCamp lead the membership in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Reports:
Mel Zeiger read the minutes- Accepted
Mike Ferlisi read the Treasurers report- Accepted
Business:
Jay DeCamp read the two emails sent to the membership by Rick Welsh, heated discussion ensued.
Mel read the proposed by law addition: Sec X. Paragraph F.
Expenditures by the club must be approved by a majority vote of the membership present at a monthly meeting. The only exceptions are described in Sec.VII Paragraph D. which describes the duties of the Treasurer. By law adopted
Motion: The Christmas party will be held and monies for it will be allocated and up to $500 can be used for centerpieces and gifts. Motion passed
Motion: The $1700 being held for future car show is moved to the general fund. Motion passed.
Nomination was opened for Secretary, there were no new nominations. Mel Zeiger will be Secretary as of January for a full 2 year term.
Nominations for President were opened and Bill Horne was nominated and seconded.
Motion: the provisions of bylaw C (1) are suspended for this vote only for the position of President of VVCC as both members are well liked and the ballot should be a closed secret vote by ballot as to not install personal bias into the election and to allow the best qualified to be elected President. Motion Passed.
Election results:
Bill Horne will be President in January for a 2 year term.
